Seasons

Ecclesiastes 3: 1 - 8 (NIV)

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Life is a lot about changes and moments.  I love how the seasons change around me. I love going for the hot, warm weather of summer into my favorite season of Fall.  I love watching the leaves change color. I love it being beautiful weather for my jeans and sweatshirts. I love the change of schedules. I just love everything about fall.

There is a time for everything. We lose pets. We adopt new pets. We been foster parents, and maybe someday we'll be adoptive parents.  We have good caseworkers and not so good case workers. We have our good days and well... those not so good days.

What I believe is important is that we cherish those good and happy moments. That we learn from the not so good moments. Above all, we appreciate today.

What are you doing with your time today? We are off to enjoy this beautiful fall weather as a family.
