When we were children, we began dreaming of being a grown-up. We've all heard the questions "what do you want to be when you grow up"? From a young age, we begin thinking about the future.
For many girls, they look forward to growing up and being a mom. I always thought that I would have my own biological children. After years of trying, and one miscarriage later, it doesn't seem to be what God has planned for me. Its been nearly 10 years of wanting to have my family. We have been blessed with three amazing kiddos. After being lead into becoming a foster parent, theses kiddos are what have made me continue on with a broken system.
Below is a link to a reminder. No matter how we become moms, what matters is the kiddos we love. For me, remembering that they are God's children's first helps me with a system that is so uncertain.
