Post Christmas

Well... Christmas came at our house. It was very low keyed and relaxed.

We spent Christmas Eve being a little busier. We went to Life Church. It was a very nice service. The best part was getting to set by our best friends and spending a little bit of the holiday with them.  They girls were beautiful in their dresses. My son looked pretty dapper too.  My friend's son was spotting a very "holiday" kind of due.  It was a very special morning. 

We came home and finished having lunch and making a few last dishes. They we all sat together and watched my favorite Christmas move "White Christmas".  The girls got a huge crack out of the "SISTER" act.  It's always fun to watch something through their eyes.

Then we headed over to my mother's house for a Christmas meal. It was really a good visit. The ham was tasty. The kids were well behaved. It was nice.

We headed to Candy Cane Lane before coming home to open some presents. The children do a little sibling exchange. It's kind of fun to give them just a little bit of "their own" holiday. Sure, we are they enjoying, but it's about them.

We nestled them into bed, with hopes that Santa would still come in the morning.

He did come. Filling stockings for the kitties, puppies, parents and kiddos. He left some fun things under the tree too.

We spent Christmas day in our PJs, just the 5 of us. It was the best Christmas ever and we loved just being together as a family.
