Unwritten

I've been a foster parent, for awhile.  More than three years actually. In fact, we are just getting ready to renew our license again this winter.  In those three years, I've experienced a lot in foster care land. Too much maybe.

All through my trails, God has been with me. He has refined me. He has made me more patient. He has made be stronger. He has brought me closer to Him.  He has made my husband shine with how amazing he is at being a father. Blessings. Lots of Blessings.

God promises that He has plans for us. He had plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Plans and promises that I had to hold unto when things got messy, dark, uncertain, crazy, and just plain painful.

The kiddos have been in care for more than 3 years and today, they said their farewell to their bio mother.  It's a new chapter and closure to the old.

But I have found that God has more for for this mother, our family and me that has not yet been written.  Our story may need another chapter or perhaps we just close the book here. It leaves me asking, is this the ending or just another beginning?

Either way, God will be with me. He has already seen what I cannot see. He knows how everything will turn out. I trust Him with the plan for my life.
