First of all, my princess competed at the 2012 YMCA Gymnastics National Competition! It was a great experience. Her level 2 team consists of three other girls. They are a great group of girls and are SO supportive of each other! Her two team mates each took All Around National Championships in the Junior and Senior division of their age groups! Princess was in the Senior division for level 2. She earned a 3rd place medal for her bar routine! She also received her highest score EVER on her floor routine (which was also 4th place). I couldn't have asked her for a better performance. She did outstanding and I had many moments where I found myself with watery eyes as I was just so happy and proud of my daughter!
When we came home, my front lawn resembled a crime scene. But see for yourself...

Yeah, my driveway was also chalked with lots of wonderful messages. It also included an outline of one of the wonderful people who had visited.
(Did I also mention, this was all done during the daytime hours while we were gone for competition? Where were my NEIGHBORS?)
Then when you came into my house, you would find more crime scene tape, balloons, missing objects, sticky notes, and fun little presents.

We had a fun night playing in the balloons. We enjoyed a yummy dinner in. We played some loud music. It was a great ending to a wonderful day.
Turning 33 might just be a good thing. The double three's might just bring me a little extra luck this year. =)
