- Never feel obligated to have your child bring a friend along. I made the mistake of thinking that she'd have a better time with a friend and underestimated the fact that she could actually have had a great time with just the two of us.
- When leaving the Water park, tell your kids that you are leaving 15 minutes earlier than you mean to. That way, you become a SUPERMOM when you can allow an additional trip down a water slide or two.
- Try to end the trip on a good note, even if it takes extra time. We stopped for an extra round of go-karts, rollercoaster and icecream. At least the girls said "At the next sleepover"... I got kind of fuzzy at that point. I think I may have just "blanked out". =)
- Appreciate your children for being so well behaved. After all, they could be like their friends!

Lessons Learned at The Waterpark
I took my oldest daughter, "Peach", to Mt. Olympus Water park in Wisconsin Dells for a birthday present. I allowed her to bring a friend along and it was not a very pleasant experience. While I was there, I learned many important lessons.
