Today is the day

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

What if we woke up everyday just being thankful for waking up?  What if we woke up being more thankful for a cup of coffee that is already been brewed by a wonderful and loving hubby?  What if we woke up looking forward to spending time with our kiddos instead of dreading the "unforgiving itinerary"? What if we woke up forgiving ourselves for the mistakes of yesterdays and hung on to peace that God forgives?  What if?

Today is a new day.  For me, today I seem to have been filled with more joy and hope.  (And I think it's more than the cooler temperatures and sunshine!)  It's just a few more days until I we can find out if we are done with all the legal drama that the defense can throw into this case.  Holding my breath, waiting.  Trusting that God has this.  He knows when is best for this to be done.  He knows how this all ends.  He knows why this had to all be drawn out.

Today. I am thankful for today.  I am thankful that for all the kiddos in foster care land... God choose these three for me. That's right... OF ALL THE KIDDOS... my three where chosen.  I wouldn't want to ever change that.  I love them all so much.  I am so blessed to have my husband and these kiddos.  I will rejoice in them and be glad and very thankful for them in my life.
