There will be be day...

Over the weekend, a news reported posted an "update" on a previous story.  It has to do with a little girl who has been in foster care for most of her life.  It has to do with the roller coaster that her foster family has been on. She was sent back home (reunified) in April 2012.  Well, she's back in the care of the system that let her down.  The worse part is, when they come back into care... the clock all starts over.  Everything starts back at square one.

This little girl again has felt the pain, the sting of an unfair and unjust world.  She isn't alone.  Many children are continuing to be hurt by the foster care system.   So today, right now, I urge you to cry out to God on behalf of these children.   I pray that they will see justice.  I pray that they will discover safety and love.  I pray that God will wipe away their tears.

It's March -- the month of Social Work.   I dare you to send a message to the social workers.  I dare you to post the above image on your Facebook page. Send the message that we will will take a stand against sending children back into situations where they get hurt again.  It's time that they protect the innocent.

Someday, God will redeem these children.  He will wipe their tears and they will not suffer.
