Good Job.

I've been thinking this weekend about how it's so much easier to complain than give thanks.  Aren't we more willing to give someone a bad review instead of a good one?  Aren't we more liking to call a place of business to complain about their customer service then to call them and say "Good Job!".  Even within our own families, we tend to say "stop that" or "don't do that" or "you forgot"... more than we say "I like how you did...", "good job" or other positive words here.

So today, I'm posting a review of my husband.

Peter is an amazing man. He has stuck by my side for more than a decade. He always believes the best in me and gives me wings to fly. He allows me so much freedom, even when it gets me into a little trouble (like spending too much cash). He is pretty fair about almost all situations. He finds some of the cutest and mushy cards for anniversaries and birthdays. He is a great husband.

I have also watched with joy as Peter has grown into the role of father. I always known he would be a great dad. He helps coach soccer for our little man (yes, he needed encouragement to do so... but he does great!). He reads and plays games with the kiddos. He will often take them for a bike ride, play at the park or even head out to the pool.  He is involved in their life. He spends time with them and really enjoys them. He is a great daddy.

So I'm putting this out there. Cause I want the world to know what a great guy he is and that I'm so blessed to have him in my life.

Here is my challenge for you today (and me too):  When you are out and about and someone is doing a good job, tell them.  If someone in your family is doing something well, tell them.
